No More Oxygen and A Silly Kynzie
Ryker’s finally off oxygen! I took him to the pediatrician this morning and we tested his oxygen saturation at 9 a.m, 12 p.m and again at 4 p.m. And it was perfect! It’s so nice not to have any cords…I ran around the house with him and dressed him in an onesie just for fun. And I of course cannot stop kissing those precious cheeks of his. He weighs 9 lbs 4 oz now!
Kynzie loves to wear my clothes. She was trying to make this shirt into a hat.

Two Kids At The Park
This was Ryker’s first stroller ride. I don’t think he cared for it too much. I didn’t either. 35 lb stoller + 35 lb Kynzie + Almost 10 lb Ryker + 5 lb oxygen take makes for a hefty uphill push!
Ryker enjoyed laying on his blanket and watching the shadows from the tree.
Kynzie thought she’d see what Ryker found so interesting.
As usual, running around and up and down the play structure.

Loving Her Brother
Kynzie was very eager to help feed Ryker. She really loves to hold him. (With very close supervision of course) What a loving big sister! I’m just crossing my fingers it will always be that way!
She gave him a kiss and said “It’s okay Ryker.”

A Singing Girl
Kynzie has three favorite songs- Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and ABC’s. If you pay close attention you can hear a few of the words- for Itsy Bitsy Spider she clearly says “spider, spout and down” and she tries very hard to say “up above the world so high” during her version of Twinkle Twinkle. She loves to sing…although she likes it even more when I sing for her (is she tone deaf?) :)
Silly Kids
See the sticker on her face? She put it on and said “Ryker" because it’s one of his “tender grip” stickers we use to hold his nasal cannula in place.
“Mommy, picture picture!”
Ryker’s tummy didn’t feel good. See his belly button? Just like Kynzie’s was when she was little….very common with preemies.
The animals on his playgym calmed him down…for a little while.
“Mommy, get me off my tummy!”"
