Christmas!

I was soooo excited for Christmas this year with Kynzie. This year would be the first that she could really understand presents.

I was particularly excited about getting her a new baby doll. She loves her babies.

Merry Christmas!

Kynzie got a neat cell phone in her stocking.

Shortly into the morning, it became apparent that Kynzie was a present opening pro!

She got a dress up set and wanted to play with it right away.

After all the festivities at home we went to visit Ryker.

She had to go back and evaluate. Did she make enough of a mess?

Our New Home

As most of you probably know, we moved a couple weeks ago into a much bigger place. 3 bedroom + a den, 1 1/2 bath townhouse- much more space that was much, much needed. We had thought at first that we may have a problem furnishing the entire place but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Goes to show just how crowded we really were in our little 2 bedroom apartment! We also finally have the luxury of having a real washer and dryer. The portable ones we had in the apartment took 3 times longer than regulars and didn’t even hold as much! Phew!

 

The above 5 pictures are of the “den” which we have turned into the computer room/Lynsey’s craft area. It’ right off the dining room, and is my favorite room in the house! Hopefully we will soon be able to replace the beat up card table with a nice office desk.

 

For those of you who had visited our old apartment you remember our lack of cabinet space. After I unpacked I still had room in the cabinets in this kitchen!

Off the dining room we have a patio…it’s actually much bigger than this picture portrays.

 

Living room…with hard-wood floors!

This is where we keep Kynzie’s toys in the living room.

A real wood burning fire place! Well, at least it will be once we get the gate out of there…

All three bedrooms are upstairs. This is the guest room.

Upstairs full bathroom…see our ridiculous kitty who has just finished drinking out of the toilet like a dog?

Our bedroom….we’re not big fans of the wood paneling…but it’s nice and roomy and has 2 closets.

This (huge) balcony is off our bedroom. Very nice and private too.
