Standing Up

Though she still has yet to master crawling, she's already trying to pull her self up to standing. She can do it if you let her grab onto your fingers. We propped her standing up against the futon and she just thought it was so much fun.

Mesmerized by Kitty Elvis

Kynzie sure loves our kitty, Elvis. She loves to just stare at him, and she gets really excited when he gets close to her. She tries to grab him and pet him.

Sitting

Kynzie is sitting up all on her own now. For the past few weeks, she's gotten more stable, and has been able to pull herself almost to sitting if she was on the bed or a pillow. But she hadn't even been close to doing it on the floor. And then yesterday, all of a sudden, she just sat right up, all by herself! She's a sitting machine now. She looks so proud of herself when she does it. She just moves her little self all over the place, sitting up, then moving somewhere else and sitting up there. She's even mastered grabbing a toy and sitting up with it to play!

Giggling Sounds

Kynzie's starting to giggle! She really loves her activity center. She figured out that she can bounce herself in it and she has a blast! Sorry about the poor lighting of the video. I had to catch her from a distance because if I get too close to her she stops making the cute sounds!

Doctor's Appointment

Kynzie had a checkup today. She weighs 16 lbs 2 oz, and she's 27 inches long. She's in the 97th percentile for her height. She's one tall little girl! And you know she doesn't get that from her 5 foot, 2 inch tall Mommy! Her doctor said she's just perfect! Just as we suspected, the doctor confirmed that yes, she is starting to teeth. And she said by watching the way she squirms, she'll probably be an early crawler.

We went to Old Navy today and got her a few new outfits. Here's a picture of her modeling one of the outfits!
